About Me

Hi, I'm Kendall! Upon graduating college and spending two years overseas traveling and playing professional basketball, I accepted a job in Utah without ever visiting the state prior. I intended to stay a year or two then move back to California (jokes on me hehe). As a transplant, I quickly realized there were limited resources for figuring out where to eat and drink, see and do, or even what neighborhoods to live in. So, I figured it out for myself and fell in love with Salt Lake City along the way. This is the best hidden gem (well maybe not anymore) in the West and I want to share all that I know in hopes I can inspire others to take advantage of what this place has to offer. 

What I love most about SLC? Proximity to...everything. It's 20 minutes door-to-door from my house to our world-class airport. It's 10 minutes to Millcreek Canyon, where I can unplug and take in the vastness of our stunning nature. It's 30 minutes up the canyon for some of the best skiing in the country. It's 15 minutes to the heart of downtown where I can enjoy a professional basketball or hockey game at the Delta Center, bar hop on Main street, walk around our State Capitol, and bring my dog almost anywhere ;) As a Latina, it's been incredible to see the diversity grow in the last decade of living here. In short, there's no place I'd rather be.
